![]() ![]() Feeling out the timing initially can be very difficult, but it’s worth it in the long run. Once again, familiarity with the input itself is paramount. To do this consistently though, requires time spent. There is no downside in comparison to doing this over the normal Rising Uppercut. I’m happy with being able to perform “Rising Uppercut” and the Mist Step, but it must be noted that EWGF is just infinitely superior.ĮWGF starts up 2F faster than Rising Uppercut, launches them higher on hit, less recovery, doesn’t use up any juggle potential and deals more damage. Or in short… probably the best move ever. Kazuya performing the Electric Wind God Fist. Note that this Mist-Step will be beaten clean by low pokes, similar to Dudley’s duck special in SSF4 and Third Strike. Eitherway, mastering this dash is core to Kazuya’s offense and dealing with projectiles and high pokes. Getting in a game situation is a different story too. I had to practice this for ages, and even then, I’m not doing the actual input. I wish I could be slightly more thorough about the execution of this, but its more to do with player familiarity with the input than anything. I will always get the dash when I’m performing it this way. I find that I will do something similar to before with F-HCF motion but I will end on DF. Ensure that you are consciously ending the input on Down-Forward. Practice the dash using literally the motion itself (F, N, D, DF) this will be much easier on a stick. This is because I couldn’t for the life of me reliably end on Down forward on a pad because the direction in this game is ambiguous. This isn’t a horrific idea, but its not ideal. I used to try and do this motion on an motion like this: When I do this motion, it is likely that I’m gonna get either Demon God Fist, or Cr.MP. We’ll touch on execution and stuff first because this is like, vital to make Kazuya safe when approaching. The motion itself (Forward, Neutral, Down, Down Forward) is already unfamiliar so this makes it a pain for me to depart from quarter circles and the like… especially when I feel I need to play this game on stick (unfamiliar input device). Its a bitch, and I usually try to plink it to get it to happen at all. I can do the move itself, to be honest, infrequently. The normal version is fair game, but the EWGF requires frame perfect timing. It is bloody difficult to do to start with. ![]() The basis of his pressure seems to be Electric Wind God Fist. Not excessive range on his normals, and lacks a projectile, but he more than makes up for it in solo damage potential and safe offensive pressure. In this game, Kazuya seems to be the whole pretty godlike at everything kinda role. “How interesting, I’ll happily take you on…” I was on anchor while Max played on point. Max plays Kuma primarily on this game so we jumped online as the badass “A-KumaMatata”… or Kuma X Akuma. I wasn’t taking the experience anywhere near seriously. So, the goofy Xbox 360 controller it is, but I tried to used the Directional Pad over the analog stick. Eitherway – I had to play on pad, because I needed my communication with Max and the Arcade stick isn’t compatible with the Microphone I use and turns out my decent Xbox 360 controller with the good analog stick has a botched Mic-port. It is so damn close to being a game that I’d probably play much more. ![]() I kind of get it in it’s approach, but I still think it could have been executed much better. I really like this mode, but it’s in this game, which I’m not convinced by SFxT yet. Eitherway, actually had a decent time, I mean, it was unusual, yet mildly entertaining experience. I’d been meaning to write about this slightly earlier and more-so, but… well, more important things like Street Fighter IV seemed more interesting. While he’s been doing that, I’ve been dashing between College Work, Street Fighter 4 and dabbling in X Tekken myself – likely what’s keeping Dudley in the Gutter Trash.įew days ago, me and my friend GamerGuyMax basically got together on XBL in the early hours of the morning. I’ve been playing Street Fighter X Tekken a lot recently – my Brother found an inspirational moment to play it so I’ve been helping him figure out some characters. Needs further investigation and more content. – Akuma: Updated Formatting – added brief notes about Demon Flip using Charge Cancels to apply further pressure. Content isn’t up to scratch at all.įinding with a lot of the Marvel Guides that I haven’t been detailing any elements of possibility in the Neutral Game until Dante, and even then, it was brief. No elaboration on the Neutral Game setting. ![]() Added Featured Image and Image to the page itself. I’ll keep this short – just making a note of all the guides and lasting content that has been updated to fit the standard formatting style of the modern material: ![]()
